Hi again

I just want to tell the world how wonderful some very dear people can be to a
travelling person in need. Vanessa is a friend who has lived in Sao Paulo in
Brazil for six years. When I was there all alone except for the publishers
representatives -Marcia and Patricia- who were delightful but of course busy
with their work- Vanessa put herself at my beck and call. That was her
expression -she mean it tho and so I had some amazing opportunities to see the
real-life of Sao Paulo. This included a four hour adventure in the hairdressers-
thank you to Gil- the man with the ponytail and big smile - 61 years old and
still having to work because of the wages limits and no pension- so Aussies
should think themselves lucky - we are!

Anyway, my sincere thanks to Vanessa and to her so-generous husband, Stefan,
who took John and I to a genuine meat-supremo amazing Argentinian restaurant-
Christina Onassis went there ooh-la-la
