Hi Everyone,

Due to a hectic schedule and failed internet I have only just blogged on now -
easy since it is raining in downtown La Paz, Bolivia.

Just want to say how important it is when travelling to such far places to know
of all the love and special people we have in our lives.

Both John and I have had to cope with some very tough news during this time-

my shock was only 3 days before departing when my only brother died suddenly
of a heart attack at only 58. As I flew out of Melbourne on 23rd July, his
funeral was in Brisbane, so I was unable to attend.
I am so thankful to my beautiful sisters and angel mother that they gave me
their blessing to leave.

Then in Peru just a few days ago, John had the sad news that one of his best
friends, Queenie, had lost her battle with cancer - only 62 and an amazingly
talented and creative soul.


So please know -to all who care about us - we wish you health, security, love
and every kindness.
